For my final post in this ‘UK Tour 2017’ series, I’ve grouped together some photos of the Lochcarron, (NW Scotland), area and of our journey home, via the Hull – Zeebrugge ferry.
I hope you’ve enjoyed our holiday as much as we did. Normal ‘alpine’ service will be resumed in the next few days… 🙂
These are a beautiful series especially the bridge shot and lake view with the boat. Wonderful to be able to enjoy your vacation with you guys.

Thanks Mary, I’m glad you enjoyed them. I thought of you as we went over the Bealach road to Applecross – though visibility was down to about 30 yards due to very low cloud, so I couldn’t take any photos.

Thanks and I bet though despite the low cloud it was a thrill just to make the trek.

It’s always a pleasure to go over to Applecross – the Inn there serves real ale (which can be hard to find in Scotland) and has won many awards!

The treat after a difficult hike.

We didn’t walk, (it’s quite a long way from Lochcarron to Applecross), we drove, but we still enjoyed the treat. 🙂 (Well, I did, as Judith had to drive back again).
