After completing Walk no. 2 and no. 3 on my list last week (and Walk no. 7 earlier this month) I realised that I may as well continue and do the whole set of 10 “Easy” walks in the coming weeks. So here are a few pictures of my walk up to Lac Bleu this morning. As you might expect at this time of year, it’s not looking as blue as it does during the summer or autumn. But it does look rather splendid. 😊

Thank you Sonam. I’m glad you enjoyed the photos. I think we will have snow for quite a few weeks yet, so my next few walks and posts may well be a little white too!

You are so lucky. At my college, it never snows. And your pictures make me miss home. Keep a similar post coming!!

I was going to say that you must get a lot of snow over there, but maybe not where you are at the moment by the sounds of it. I’ll do my best to bring you some more images. 😊

Yes, it’s never the same even when it’s a very light grey sky. The pure white adds something to the blue!

😊 Yes, you run out of superlatives eventually… I must have written amazing, fabulous, incredible, wonderful, magnificent, etc. more times than I can remember. Also the Swiss are the masters of understating things, so a little bit of that rubs off too!

Love your walk, Mike. The darker kind of weather add a different and more dramatic feeling to the landscape – WOW!

Thanks Hanna. I see what you mean about it adding a bit of atmosphere. Though if it’s too cloudy, it can all look a bit flat and grey, and a bit depressing. It is a nice walk, which is very popular with families in the summer. 😊
