Garden Butterflies (Llanfyllin, Powys, N.Wales)
As I looked out of the kitchen window this morning, I noticed a Gatekeeper butterfly. With the outside temperature due to rise (again) to around 32 degrees C, (90 F), I figured it might be a good day to skip any physical exercise, like gardening (again), and to hunt down a few butterflies. 👍😊
As you will see below, I managed to capture 8 of the more common ones in the UK, though I’m sure I may have missed some others. For example, I didn’t see any Tortoiseshells or Commas. Maybe they were taking it easy somewhere too. 🤔
