Yes, indeed… Though quite a sad or poignant set of lyrics. (Though I never used to take any notice of them when I was young – it was all about the tune).

You’ll be far too young to know these the first time around. I did think about pasting in the lyrics with each song and highlighting my favourite line or bit, but I decided against it. E.g. with this one, I love the long intro and strings, the harmony of the backing singers and, if I had to pick one line, it would be when he sings “I remember planning…” If only I could sing like that! (I was the only boy in our junior school class NOT in the choir!) π₯

Hello Mike again.
I membered today that in 1967 Swedish instrumental guitar pop group Violents had also synchronized dance also. Violents and their Alpens Ros (translated => Rose from the Alps). I do not know if You have ever heard this kind of music, which was made famous by the Shadows. Although this kind of music (electric guitar music) was known in Sweden, it was extremely popular in Finland also.

The World of music is so wide! I did find Cumbia music, when I visited Peru for the first time in the 70s. Since then it has been my absolute music, Its styles vary from the one country to other. Someday, if You want to listen one on my favorite Cumbia from Colombia, The I give the link.
