A snowy (dog) walk up Jericho Hill, nr Llanfyllin, Powys, Wales
At 293m or 961ft, Jericho Hill is not the highest of ‘mountains’ in the area, but it does give some wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.
The hill is alongside what’s becoming one of my regular walks with Tomos. I was hoping to let him off the lead near the summit, but a flock of sheep stood proudly near the top, so I kept him in check. Though he did get to wander unconstrained in one of the empty fields and along the very leafy track to the road on our descent. See pic 9.
