I think I mentioned in my post yesterday how nice the weather was… You will also notice that mountain biking often involves carrying (or pushing) your bike uphill sometimes but, then, that does make the downhills quite exhilarating!

    Beautiful images Mike and yes, I can imagine that it is not always a joke when you have to carry your bike on the narrow and steep paths. You were really lucky that the weather was nice. In bad weather the mountains have their own dangers….

      Yes, indeed, the mountains can be a dangerous place in bad weather. If you read part 2 of our Trans-Swiss bike ride, (if not, see below), you will know that one of our group got hypothermia on that ride.

    Amazing. With those views the hardest part would be keeping an eye on the trail. Most of our mountain bike trails are in the trees. Maggie

      Yes, some of those trails seemed to go on (and up) forever! It was good fun though!
