Although I only posted some pictures of this walk 9 days ago, yesterday morning Jude and I went for a stroll around the paths and tracks behind our chalet. Jude’s eye for a photograph is completely different to mine, so I thought it was worth another post, including some of her images.

Hi Mike, Jude has a great eye for a photo (as do you of course 🙂 ). What’s the bird in the last photo? Looks a bit fieldfare-ish but tricky to tell…

Thank you Viv, I’ll pass that on. The bird is an Alpine Accentor. (There is a title to the photo, but maybe it’s not visible to you for some reason?) There were/are quite a few Fieldfares around though. I got a very poor shot of one on my way out in the afternoon. (Post to come tomorrow… 😊)

You both make very nice photos. The mountain top with het clouds around drew my attention.

Thanks. And, I agree, that’s a beautiful photograph. That one and some of Jude’s other photographs were the main reason I decided to do another post. 😊

Love the captures of the snow blowing off the peaks.

Yes, that always looks impressive. My wife brought along her SLR with zoom lens, so that helps enormously. My new point and shoot only has a 3x zoom, which is pretty useless really. Next time…
