   Goodness! That’s wonderful! Do the farmers still take cattle up to the mountain to graze in the summer? If so, the cattle must absolutely love this pasture! This kind of meadow is being lost in UK, building happening all over the place and this sort of meadow isn’t safe any more… Lovely to see Mike, Thanks for this image – terrific! 🙂

      I’ve been trying for years to capture the sheer magnificence and variety of plants and colour in the meadows and this is the best I’ve managed so far. It is but a very, very small section of an extremely large area that looks just like that. And, yes, the farmers do take there cows up to the alpage every summer.
