The sun continues to shine in the Valais, so today I set off for a bike ride down to Sion and along the Rhone valley. I wasn’t the only person enjoying the sunshine as I saw people on skateboards, in-line skating, fishing, horse riding, golfing and playing boules. Needless to say I caught the bus back up the valley. 🙂

  Thanks for your nice comments. We often see that panoramic view when we drive down the valley, but it’s not easy to stop and take photographs. It made a change to cycle down and I stopped several times (as you can see from the earlier pictures). The blue skies are set to continue until Friday (the forecasts are pretty accurate in central Europe) so I plan to make the most of it. 🙂
