Chipping Norton to Woodstock

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed that the route doesn’t actually going into Chipping Norton, but that was the nearest place we could find accommodation. It also neatly carved the 36 mile route into fairly equal sections of between 11 and 13 miles.

In addition, we detoured into Charlebury, around half way, to find a nice tea shop, serving HUGE sausage rolls and hot cross buns.😋

As you will see from the photos below, the weather wasn’t quite as kind as Day 1, so the images look rather gloomy I’m afraid. Nevertheless the 3 of us had a good toddle along, while Dave (the🐶) and Pete (r🐇) were keeping warm and dry in the depths of my rucksack. 😊👍👍

And Liam couldn’t believe his luck when the guy in pic 11 came along. Plenty of I-Spy points there!
