Inn Way to the Lake District, (Day 2 of 3)

You may have noticed the lack of images of the 2nd leg (from Ambleside to Seatoller) in yesterday’s post. That’s because Dave and Tim very rarely take photos! However, you’re in for a treat today because Pete does take a few pics (decent ones too – though it does take him absolutely aaaages to push the button on his camera) and so, below, you have two galleries for the price of one! 👍👍😊 (Not that I’m getting paid for any of this you understand). 😕

Seatoller to Braithwaite (with Dave and Pete)

Braithwaite to Buttermere (with Tim, Liam and Mike)

Absolutely! You can’t beat getting back together with your (very) old mates, reminiscing and putting the world to rights -especially over a proper beer! 😋🍺

It certainly makes a difference when exploring away from the more popular areas of the Lake District. I would enjoy this walk for those expanding vistas.

Yes, Wasdale is my favourite area as it’s always relatively quiet there but Borrowdale was very nice too. I may go back there to explore some of the peaks around the (rather nice, Glaramara) hotel. 👍😊
