Three Scottish Castles…

We’re currently on holiday in Scotland (more posts to come). 😀 The car journey from home to our self catering accommodation would have taken 9 hours, so we stopped off in Inveraray. It’s in a wonderful location and has an amazing Castle. I noticed that there were two more impressive castles on the second leg of our journey so, of course, we had to take a picture or two…

      Thanks Tony. Yes, it is, We stayed a couple of nights and drove down the Mull of Kintyre to take the ferry to the island of Gigha. It rained there too but we managed to have a picnic on one of the beaches during a brief dry spell. 👍👍😊

      I’m not surprised you enjoyed your time in Inveraray Jo. We drove through there only two years ago, on our way to a wedding, and vowed to go back one day. This trip was a great opportunity and it worked out really well. 😊👍👍

      Yes – though on and off! I took some cloudy photos of Inveraray Castle and we went to look around the town. While we were there, the sun came out, so I hot-foot it around the bay, to the bridge, to get some more pics… (The things we do to get the best shots, eh!?)
