I never thought of it like that, but you are right Dorothea. š
For info. I have another picture of the glacier which was taken as we approached which shows how huge it is (height or depth-wise). Let me know if you are interested and I’ll send you a copy. (It was raining at the time so not the greatest picture, but you need the original to zoom in to see the ‘tiny’ people on the glacier).-
