Jude and I will be celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary on Saturday. So we decided to take advantage of the glorious weather and treat ourselves to an early celebratory lunch at the Kurhaus Hotel in Arolla. A more peaceful spot you cannot imagine. It’s hard to believe that only 4 days ago, snow was covering their beautiful lawn.

Thanks Tammy. Yes, they do a nice lunch. The chef has some interesting ideas (like wrapping the salad in the strip of cucumber), so it’s a little bit different to the usual Swiss fare of Rostis and Croutes etc… especially when the sun is shining ! 🙂
