Since returning from our holiday in the UK, the weather has not been great in southern Switzerland.  It has however been warm enough for the wild flowers to be popping out all over the place – as can be seen from the photos below.  These were all taken today, while on a short walk along the riverside, between Evolène and Les Haudères.  I’m sorry that I haven’t named them, but there were too many to find in my little book (and I hate it when I can’t find them) !  I hope the sheer variety and beauty speaks for themselves !

Thanks Maxine. 🙂 I hope you noticed that:
      a) the Tigers will be taking on the Foxes next year ?
      b) Steve Cummings won the final stage of the Dauphiné yesterday – hanging on to a 3 to 4 minute lead. Shame he’s now riding for a team in dull black and white colours !

Tigers and Foxes will be a great match! I’m storing up the Dauphine to have a good catchup soon, but it’s great news about Stephen Cummings, just a pity about his team ‘colours’ as you say! 😀

The question is will your ‘mug in the cupboard’ outweigh me not watching the game live…? I suspect you’ll win (unless you sell Vardy and/or Mahrez of course).

Who knows Mike, it’s all so up in the air! In the old days, I’d say the Tigers would win hands down, but it’s all new for Leicester City these days! 😀

It’s not long until the Fixture list is announced (this Wednesday I think) so we’ll soon know when the battle will begin !

Yep. Those footballers don’t get much rest these days – especially those at the Euros. Our first friendly/warm-up match is on the 15th July !

Good grief! They are working hard! Mind you, I wouldn’t mind seeing Jamie Vardy working for a while on Thursday! 😉 Meanwhile, if warm-up matches begin in July, I’ve only got a few weeks before the mug goes back in the cupboard for another year! 🙄

I can see Vardy getting a game on Thursday. Sterling should never have been in the squad let alone on the pitch on Saturday. (He’s never been the same since he left Liverpool). Unfortunately though Jamie was a little out of sorts when he played in that wide, left position in the friendlies. So it will be interesting to see what Roy does. I’d play a good old fashioned 4 4 2 (with Kane and Vardy up front) and attack the Welsh defence.
At least the mug will last quite a few years if it only gets used 2 months out of 12 !! 🙂

I like your thinking Mike! And you’re absolutely right about the mug!😁
