I thought this momentous day shouldn’t go by without some comment on my blog and I was hoping to have some nice images but, unfortunately, the wet and misty weather has kept me at home today. That has, however, allowed me to get a few small jobs done and to watch some of the Tour de Yorkshire.

I’d also like to thank all of my now ex-colleagues at Nestlé for their wonderful send off and best wishes this week – not to mention the lovely leaving gift. The handheld GPS will be very useful for tracking and measuring all of my walks.  Thanks everyone !

Congratulations on making it to retirement day. Now the next chapter in your life begins.
A map and a compass would have all that Dad would have got ‘back in the day’ how times have changed.
    See you soon.

Thanks Christoph. So far, no P1 or P2 incidents, so my KPI targets are still on track !! 🙂
